Affordable cellular modem solutions

ATM Apex sells cellular modem solutions to ATM owners, operators, financial institutions and businesses—not only locations enrolled in an ATM Apex placement program. A modem can be bundled with a new machine, added during an upgrade or supplied for an existing compatible ATM.

Cellular connectivity can keep the ATM independent from the host network, simplify installation and provide service where wired internet is unavailable or unsuitable. Because cellular service carries a monthly cost, it is not automatically the best answer for every site. Where dependable internet already exists, a secured and segmented host connection may be more economical.

We evaluate carrier coverage, expected availability, security, installation complexity and operating cost before recommending cellular, host internet or a resilient hybrid design.

New deployments

A new ATM project may include location review, equipment ordering, processing coordination, communications, delivery, installation, programming, signage, testing and training or handoff documentation.

Replacement machines

When an existing ATM is unreliable, obsolete or difficult to support, we can evaluate the current footprint and operating program, recommend a replacement, coordinate the cutover and remove the old machine.

Parts and upgrades

Availability varies by model and age, but ATM Apex can source common service parts and evaluate manufacturer-supported TR-31, EPP, software and other modernization paths for Triton, Genmega and Hyosung equipment before recommending repair, upgrade or full replacement.

Support after installation

Equipment is more useful when the installer remains available. ATM Apex can provide ongoing service, preventive maintenance, upgrades and vendor coordination after the machine enters production.
